It was a really well-run experience, loved the musical element, Tiwa was such an amazing presence. I have already actioned some of the takeaways and look forward to a brighter future.

This was a safe space for me to just me. I was safe enough to expose really vulnerable parts of myself, and in return, I was handled with care!
I have now started my own business supporting a cause really close to my heart.

Tiwa was a guest speaker at my workplace, Pollen. She was funny, engaging, heartwarming and so much more! Plus she had an incredible blue power suit on which was to. die. for! I've never seen someone combine spoken word and singing in such a seamless way to really deliver a message about empowerment, self love & self care and I'm eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see her perform/speak again.

Christine Osazuwa - Founder of Measure of Music & UK Director of shesaid.so
For our end-of-project celebration, we had Beyond a Song come in and it was, if not the greatest highlight of this programme. Tiwa King and her guitarist Adè are true leaders in their field when it comes to using music as a healing tool for all. Tiwa worked with the children to create a song based on affirmations that they created for themselves. The use of positive affirmations for young child carers can be impactful and to have them develop it into songs that they could keep and use in times of distress or loneliness is powerful. I am incredibly grateful and thankful that Beyond a Song facilitated this and
I look forward to a long working relationship moving forward.
